LOVE FOR ANALOG PHOTOGRAPHY

With my cameras and portable darkroom, I bring traditional photographic techniques back to life — crafting photography that exist beyond time.

I believe in the beauty of imperfection, in the silence before the shot, and in the wonder that arises from manual development.

Not a quick click, but an analog ritual where matter and the magic of light merge into an unrepeatable image.

A magical experience blending art, alchemy, and human connection.

I travel with my mobile artisan studio, bringing the magic of analog photography to events, festivals, and private gatherings.

Contact me for collaborations, events, or custom projects. Available across the World for itinerant portraits, art performances, and photographic workshops.

In just a few minutes, guests experience the birth of a true photograph — an image that forms through alchemy, and that they can hold in their hands.

It’s more than a portrait.

It’s a living memory, a fleeting instant turned into matter.

The eye and touch of the artisan, guided by intuition and light.

Behind the lens, a photographer working with the same care used to shape a work of art.

Ancient Photographic Processes

At ITINERANT PICS, we specialize in creating handcrafted portraits that merge the magic of light with the beauty of historical photographic processes.

Silver Gelatin Print

Silver gelatin printing is a classic black and white photographic printing process that has been the standard of fine art and documentary photography for over a century. The image is created by exposing light-sensitive paper coated with silver halide crystals suspended in a gelatin emulsion.

Using a traditional darkroom process, the photograph is projected from a negative onto the paper and then carefully developed, stopped, fixed, and washed by hand. This method allows for precise control over contrast, tonal range, and detail, resulting in deep blacks, luminous highlights, and rich mid-tones.

Each silver gelatin print is a handcrafted photographic object, valued for its clarity, depth, and permanence. Subtle variations in exposure, development, and paper choice make every print slightly unique, even when produced from the same negative.

Silver gelatin prints are appreciated for their timeless aesthetic, archival stability, and ability to convey emotion and texture with exceptional nuance—making them a cornerstone of traditional black and white photography.

Dry Plate Tintype

Tintype is a historic photographic process from the mid-19th century, known for its timeless, handcrafted look. Unlike modern photography, a tintype is created by exposing an image directly onto a thin metal plate that has been coated with a light-sensitive emulsion.

Each tintype is a one-of-a-kind original. There are no negatives or digital copies—what you see is the final photograph. Because the process is done by hand and developed immediately, every image carries small imperfections, textures, and tonal variations that make it unique.

The tintype process requires the subject to remain still during the exposure, which gives the portraits a calm, intimate, and contemplative presence. The result is an image with rich contrast, subtle details, and a distinctive vintage character that cannot be replicated digitally.

Today, tintype photography is appreciated not only for its historical significance, but also for its authenticity, durability, and emotional depth—offering a tangible photograph meant to last for generations.
